Before taking a trip to the Main River, I thought
this is really going to put the Outfitter to the
test. This was a family trip. We had family members
with no experience Salmon fishing at all. Now that I
think about it little to no experience fly fishing.
We also had a couple of members that had been Salmon
fishing for many years. To watch the guides teach a
novice fisherman the perfect presentation for a
particular pool was incredible. To watch that novice
fisherman catch the limit day after day was just
awesome.
The rest of the family was very impressed of the
skill and overall knowledge of the guides. The trip
we had to the Main River was exceptional. The guides
seem to know every rock in the river. I'm not sure
if it was the fact that the river was chock full of
wild Atlantic Salmon-Or seeing several Moose and
Caribou every day-Or the friendly guides. Maybe it
was a combination. Whatever the reason, this
was without a doubt, the best fishing trip I had
been on in my life. (I have been on many)
Thank you for the trip, the memories the fun and the
newly found friendship.
